Clear aligners systems (like Invisalign) are made of clear, lightweight plastic trays that fit over your teeth and are designed to align your teeth and improve your bite. Although the process looks and feels different from traditional braces, the outcome will be the same! The best part is because they are removable, you can eat what you want to eat, drink what you want to drink, and brush and floss normally.
Clear aligners tend to be more comfortable than traditional braces because there is less irritation of the lips and gums. Additional benefits include the ability to remove the aligners for special events and pictures, fewer visits to our office, and no emergency visits!
At your initial consultation at Evergreen Orthodontics, we'll take digital scans and X-rays to create a 3D image of your mouth. We then create your custom-fitting aligners from these images (how tech savvy is that?). Once the aligners have been created and delivered to you, you will start to see improvements to your bite and smile.

These aligners are made of smooth, comfortable, and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth (like a retainer). When you wear your aligners as prescribed, this will gently move your teeth into place little by little based on the exact movements planned for you by Dr. Lotz. It is fully customized to fit your exact needs.
With clear aligner treatment at Evergreen Orthodontics, there are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You just pop in a new set of aligners weekly (or as prescribed by Dr. Lotz) until your treatment is completed. Dr. Lotz will be monitoring the movement of your teeth to ensure that your teeth are moving in a healthy way.
